Whenever possible, we work with other organisations to bring help to those in need. Joining forces allows us to make the best use of our funds and avoids duplication of efforts by those working in the same field. For example, we have:
- Jointly donated a new anaesthesia machine to St Kizito Hospital, Mikumi, Tanzania. in collaboration with the Dutch charity, Friends of Mikumi .
- Donated a portable anaesthesia machine for surgical missions run by ASCOVIME in Cameroon.
- Provided specialist neonatal breathing equipment (CPAP) to the charities Humanity First, Born on the Edge and Birthlink UK to assist their work to improve neonatal healthcare in the Gambia, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo respectively.
- Funded the refurbishment of respiratory and neonatal equipment in Tanzania, with the German charity Friends of Haydom.
- Partnered with numerous Rotary clubs and International Rotary to bring safe anaesthesia equipment and training to hospitals in Ethiopia, Burundi, Tanzania, Somaliland and more.
